Jasmin Brand is the CEO of Launch DFW, a Texas-based media company on a mission to increase connectivity and collaboration in the local startup and business ecosystem with the recent debut of The LaunchPad, a first of its kind community dashboard.

She is also the founder and President of DARBY JAMES, a respected agency leader in experiential marketing, events and comprehensive brand strategies for cities and startups. Original projects include Beats By Her, a digital storytelling and live music platform for independent female artists and The City Influencer, a popular blog on diversity, life and culture in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Honored as a Small Business of the Year Finalist for both 2018 and 2019 by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Alchemy Pops strives to make every day a Saturday by serving frozen pops that make you feel as great as they taste. Alchemist of Alchemy Pops, a local gourmet frozen pop company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Specializing in handcrafted frozen pops made with ingredients sourced from Texas as much as possible, Alchemy Pops is about treating yourself better and serving up sunshine and smiles to its customers.

 

Carolyn holds a BA in Business from Texas Christian University and holds an MA in Sustainability from Arizona State University. Alchemy Pops began as a side hustle while Carolyn worked as a non-profit fundraiser, ultimately leaving her fundraising career after 5 years to become a full-time pop-preneur. Alchemy Pops represents her endeavor to merge her non-profit experience with entrepreneurship to found a company that is both for-profit and for-purpose.
